There are two paths that run east - west along the north side of Ryburn reservoir. Today a team consisting of Eleanor, Lynda, Jerry, Graham and Jak tackled the more northerly of the two paths which runs between two walls. The path was overgrown and had a 10 metre section of deep, wet mud.
The entrance to the path from the lane off Swift Place is now more easily accessible. We opened up a channel along the side of the wall over a distance of about 75 metres. We had to move a considerable amount of clingy, wet mud in the very bad section to give some sort of surface to walk on. The path is still a bit muddy but now not deeply muddy. Some rainfall will help to wash it along and we will monitor the path.
