Gareth & Neil Mc returned to the hillside above Frieldhurst Road to install a dog-gate in the new stile below Hartley Royd on the Fielden Trail.
As usual, much head-scratching took place as we tried to recall exactly how a dog-gate is constructed. Luckily photos from an earlier job were available and so we set to work in beautiful weather with even more beautiful views.
A large hole was required to install a new post in place, a vital 6 inches to the right of the previous post. Once it was dug, and many stones excavated, the new dog-gate was rapidly installed.
Today’s work was funded by Calderdale Council ward forum grant. Many thanks!
