David and Ian V set out to install some additional revetment to prevent further erosion of the channel bank on the footpath running from Shawcroft Cottages on Akroyd Lane up towards Wainsgate Lane. In addition to the revetment, the steps above the revetment section were cleared of encroaching grass tufts, and some drainage work was carried out to reduce the amount and depth of mud on the path.
