HEBDEN BRIDGE - Lumb Falls

Bridleway Wadsworth 023, otherwise known as Lumb Lane, which leads down to Lumb Falls, was reported as very overgrown. So Andy, Guy, and Frank S were there today clearing brambles, nettles, hawthorn, and more. Part of the surface is well cobbled, but in other places it's very rough with loose stones and deep steps. We weren't able to do anything about the surface, but at least you can now see the stones and steps that might trip you up.

And during our lunch break we saw a flight of six white swans flying in a V formation right over us!
