DODD NAZE & WIDDOP

Kash and Rich returned to Dodd Naze estate to complete the work started last week. Kash went round all the paths with a brush cutter to deal with the encroaching vegetation. Meanwhile, Rich did more cutting back through the wooded sections and nearly finished clearing the path going down to Sandy Gate. Today's work was funded by an individual donation to CROWS.

We will return to finish clearing the path to Birchcliffe and do some waymarking.

Then it was up to the Pennine Way at Widdop where an unstable wall had fallen over the path. Part of the wall was dismantled and re-built to make it safe. Not a posh walling job, but it is now safe and the path is clear..
