BLACKSHAW HEAD and COLDEN

A team of four, Jerry, Jan, Andrew and Frank S, were out today on the Pennine Way with new finger posts. The first one at Badger Lane had rotted away, and then a short waymark post just above Hebble Hole was replaced with a new finger post. The funding for these new finger posts was from family and friends of Tim Mihajlovic

We also cleared some mud off the path beside Colden Water at the end of the mill race.

We need a deep hole to hold the post steady.

The first post at Badger Lane now in place.

The second post near Hebble Hole.

The path by the mill race now free of mud.

Later on the New Delight Inn ran a quiz night to raise funds for CROWS. About £150 was raised. Thanks to Mark the quiz host, Jan for organising the raffle and everyone taking part making it a really fun evening.
