BLACKSHAW HEAD - Pennine Bridleway

CROWS have been asked by Natural England to carry out strimming and cutting back on a number of sections of the Pennine Bridleway (PBW) in the Upper Calder Valley.

RJ, Fred and Kasher completed the last two sections today. The PBW areas cut were:

a) below Dove Scout down towards Cowbridge Wood and Jumble Hole Road

b) behind Land Farm, off School Land Lane.

CROWS would like to thank Shirley Harris for the donation of a Stihl strimmer/brush cutter. Having three brush cutters to use has certainly speeded up completion of this work.

Today's work has been funded by Natural England.
