Frank S and Rich went to put in a waymark post and cut back encroaching trees on the lovely path from Little Burlees Farm down to Fallingroyd. We then went on to do the same for the path from Heights Road to Han Royd.
This work was funded through a legacy from Bruce John McGreevy who was a lifelong member of the Ramblers.
The details
The old causey path running down from Little Burlees farm had become very overgrown with holly, beech, brambles and ferns. Having checked for nests and any unusual plants, we set to work to cut back vegetation to open up the path.

We then put in a post at the path junction and sorted out a stile above.
Arriving back at the little Burlees Farm, we then went along Heights Road to the 'invisible' path to Han Royd.
A yellow top post was put in but we ran out of steam to do the cutting back. That's for another day!
