A route that used to be 'wheelchair accessible' had become overgrown making access difficult. Jan, Jerry, Fred, Andrew and Rich continued the path widening started a few weeks ago. Work funded by donations to CROWS, through Just Giving.
We managed to get a lot done in one day, developing more sophisticated and efficient techniques as we worked!

Fred strimmed back some brambles but we will schedule a cutting back visit in May when the new growth is through.
We stopped just before the snow came, but we reckon half a day will finish the path. Then, after some use and exposure to inclement weather we can assess the stability of the path's surface. We will then ask the person who reported the issue to come and test out the work!
