A beautiful sunny morning for working on this very overgrown path. Paul, Fred Lynda and Eleanor spaced themselves out along the length of the track to tackle the brambles and reveal the true width of the path.
Daunting ..... Its obviously a very long time since anyone had cleared the path!
Further down, a robust laurel hedge bordering a nearby garden intruded into the path.
Lunchtime! And already the full width of the path is restored.
View from the top ....
View from the bottom .
Job done for the day - and more or less finished before the rain started.... Hopefully now the path is cleared so walkers will be encouraged to use it more and keep the vegetation down.
This work was funded by a grant from Ripponden Parish Council and individual donations.
