Linda, Ginny, Rich and Stella tackled a number of reported jobs today.
Following a report through our website, Linda and Stella cut back the overhanging shrubbery on Stoney Lane - the bridleway that runs from the Old Coop at Pecket Well.

A wire fence was repaired and some overhanging oak trees were cut back.
Meanwhile, at the top of the path Ginny and Rich tried to sort out a blocked drain that was causing water to run down the path.
We found the drain, dug it out but couldn't discover where it went, so we will need to consult the adjacent landowner.
Next Ginny and Linda went over to Smeekin Pike to replace a waymark post.
The work in Pecket Well was funded by a generous donation from Wadsworth Walking Market. Many thanks.
Stella and Rich went over to Falling Royd (between HB and Mytholmroyd). The route off the main road was poorly waymarked and the path higher up needed cutting back. We also worked out how to repair a very awkward stile that had been reported.
Then it was on to Throstle Bower Farm off the Midgley Road where the path above the farm had been reported as being very overgrown.
The first section had a lot of encroaching brambles. These were all cut back. As the walled lane climbs up the hillside, the route was partly blocked by an overgrown holly tree.
