Today's Todmorden team of Ken and Kasher spent an enjoyable day sorting out a number of small outstanding tasks in the Todmorden area.
1) Todmorden 085: The stile above Robinwood Mill had been on the "to do" list for a few months. However, when we arrived to tackle the job we realised that the legs were loose rather than rotten and just needed repacking. We did this and also replaced the treadboard. This should 'see' the stile through the next couple of years.

2) Todmorden 078: The fingerpost on Flower Scar Road at the start of Tod 078 had come down. We cut off the rotten base of this finger post and re-bedded it.

3) Marker post at the junction of Todmorden 197 and 049 near Hartley Royd. This collapsed marker post needed to be reinstalled. We had thought that the old post would be reusable but after managing to drag it out of the undergrowth we decided that a new post was needed. We have removed the old post and will return with its replacement next week.
4) Stiles at Todmorden 074 and Todmorden 078: Two stiles, one near Bearnshaw Tower off Carr Road, and the other near Watty Farm above Gauxholme, have been reported to CROWS for possible repairs. The jobs have been assessed and measurements taken for future repairs.
