On a beautiful, end-of-September day RJ and Kasher went back to Todmorden Moor, to work on two footpaths; Todmorden 077 and Todmorden 073.

Today's work was a continuation of the job started last Friday by RJ, Andrew and Catherine. This was to complete the replacement of the cross-treads on the remaining boardwalks. We also improved the level and stabilisation of all of the boardwalks. Although old, these boardwalks should now last for a couple of years, although one boardwalk appears to be in a dry area! However, as experienced walkers will know, once the wet winter weather sweeps in what was dry soon becomes a quagmire!

| 4. It may have been easier to completely renew this one! |
We also re-instated a number of marker posts and refurbished others with a touch-up of yellow paint and new way-mark disks, as needed.

| 5. Dead men to add and a post to erect. |

We then moved back to Flower Scar Road to strim the area around the stone crusher (https://penninehorizons.org/items/browse?tags=Stone+crusher) and the accompanying stone seat.
Today's work was funded by individual donations to CROWS. Many thanks.
