LAST BIT OF PENNINE WAY SURVEY

Rich, Stella and Billie braved some mighty winds to survey from Graining Water, alongside Walshaw reservoirs nearly to the Bradford border.

We are now much more adept at managing a clipboard in 30mph winds!

Lots of issues - mainly waymarking, worn out gates, drainage and a fallen tree.

The new bridge (to nowhere?) was fine

Not a PW post but lovely lichen

The last bit of the survey

Despite the wind, it was glorious being up on the tops in this part of Calderdale.

All we have to do now is tidy up our survey notes, check the costings and submit everything to Natural England and Calderdale Highways for funding. Fingers crossed!
