We said we'd be back and today we were! Billie and Stella finished opening up the path that we started on last week. It's an old walled lane which runs from the bottom of Wood Lane to the railway, thus providing a route from Sowerby down the hill, over the railway and the canal to the valley bottom and the A646. Eight days ago it was impenetrable, now it invites you. Two walkers "skipped" down it as we were finishing, which was nice.
