A mizzley sort of day, but it improved gradually! There were 4 of us out , but we split into 2 pairs. Ian and Bernard tackled a broken stile.....
.... unfortunately , we don't have an 'after' picture , but Ian and Bernard completed the job. It was not without some difficulty given they didn't have wire cutters with them , and there was a lot of barbed wire to tackle! They then moved on to do some smaller jobs around Firth House.
Meanwhile Lynda and Eleanor had identified several small jobs on Walks 1 and 3, which needed doing. There will be more no doubt ....
One of which was improving this set of steps up from Withens End Lane near Ringstone Reservoir .
On clearing off years of growth, a waymark arrow on the step was revealed. Goodness knows how long its been since that was last visible.
