RIPPONDEN, FIDDLE WOOD near MILL BANK

 Today Lynda and Eleanor were working in Fiddle Wood clearing some stone steps leading down through the wood on a well used path towards Mill Bank from Clapgate Lane. I believe we did them about 5 years ago but they are badly in need of clearing again.

 

 

 After finishing this set of steps and some further downhill,we moved on to mud scraping a very mucky section of path. As you can see there is still plenty more to be done, but there is a good hard surface underneath so it's definitely worth doing.
