A fine day of footpath fettling on the path running west through Knott Wood below Winters.
Paul, Ray and Stella repaired a bridge, put in a waymark post, sawed off some overhanging branches and widened the path, which was in places ankle-breakingly close to the steep downside slope. There are still three wobbly waymark posts to re-seat, another stretch of path to widen and quite a lot of cutting back to do next week.
