Once the mud was cleared, it was possible to see what could be salvaged. Eventually the approach to the gate was much improved
Heidi and Lynda cleared other paths of thick mud and also replaced a marker post that someone, for reasons unknown, had decided to remove! They then put another post half-way up the path to Hill House Farm, so that walkers on the children's 'Meadow Walk' could be sure of the direction to take.
