JUMBLE HOLE CLOUGH

Two teams were out today at Jumble Hole Clough. Ken and Nigel were just above Jumble Hole Mill where a tree had fallen across the little footbridge.

The tree is resting on the handrail of the bridge

The tree is now cut up with the trunk at the side

The bridge is open again

Meanwhile Frank S, Cath, and Nick were further up the clough on the path leading to the little stone bridge. The job was to clear the mud and leaves, and cut back heather, brambles, and holly.

Cath and Nick hard at work

One of the cross drains cleared out and working again

A muddy puddle where the cross drain was blocked

Now with the drain cleared out

Path clearance funded by Todmorden Town Council, tree removal funded by Calderdale Council Highways dept.
