Bernard, Dick, Gerald and Mo continued the work carried out on Monday.
The first task was to add a box step.
Before
Box step constructed.
Next job was to create a drainage gully where water runs down the hillside in wetter times.
This should keep any water off the path.
The next section requires revetment 2ft. high. Preliminary work was carried out to ensure 6ft. stobs could be installed where the ground was very rocky. Gerald acts as a safety anchor while Bernard drives the stob home.
Finally a wooden kerb was installed at the edge of the road to stop water running onto the path at the entrance.
Work funded by National Trust.
