Under blue skies, warm sunshine
and the call of the curlew for company, Mick, Bernard and Lynda set off to make
improvements to the path up to Manshead from the A58 at Baitings dam. Bernard
spent the day on drainage work higher up the path, whilst Mick put in several
extra waymarkers posts, removed some defunct boardwalk and made a start on refurbishing
the notice board at the start of the path. Lynda was tasked with repainting
marker posts and weeding a footbridge to improve its lifespan.
