HEBDEN BRIDGE Nutclough Woods

Stella, Linda, Peat and Ginny worked on the shady side of the woods at the end of Edward St. where a popular path has become a mud bath because of water draining down from the Chapel St. path above.

By digging a cross-drain, Linda and Ginny managed to collect it into one stream crossing the path.  Hopefully the rest will now dry out.

Meanwhile Stella and Peat put in 3 steps across the mud slide further along the path, making access to the rocky section much easier.

This work was paid for by a generous donation to CROWS - for which many thanks.
