Jerry and Rich went to survey the path from Ripley Terrace to Luddenden. We also went to deal with a reported fallen tree.
The path has had a good cut back but some of the edges need securing. These will be dealt with by a work party in the next few weeks.
A large branch of an oak tree had fallen across the path effectively making it impassable.

We removed several of the branches, but some were hanging over the river. We decided that to prevent the branches falling into the river, we needed to come back with more people and ropes.
People can use the path, but the tree may not be that stable in high winds.
