Mo and Rich went up for an annual visit to Mytholm Steeps to keep the rampant Himalayan Balsam at bay. The problem was that much of it was coming up beneath bramble and nettles that also needed to be removed. Another job for a battery brush cutter and a domestic garden strimmer.
The Rotary Club Hebden Bridge recently generously funded the purchase of a battery brush cutter for High Hurst Meadow, Dodd Naze residents and CROWS. Today we ran an induction session and sorted out the practical arrangements for sharing this very useful asset.
