On a typical grey, overcast day, early in December, Ian S. and Jan ventured out to a footpath behind Carrs Farm, on Rowland Lane near the Lane Ends at Chiserley. Accompanied by several frisky horses (one of which attempted to steal our lunch bags!), we focussed on improving two stiles, both of which needed a new grab post and one which needed a new treadboard and support leg.
