Coal Dyke, Midgley
Ian S, Steve and Paul returned to Coal Dyke today to finish off the double board walk started last week. A second board walk was fixed into place covering over a lengthy patch of wet muddy ground. In addition a drainage channel was cut and stone infill placed at both ends of the board walk along with foot path widening in places where gorse and heather impeded safe passage. Thanks to Mark and Jan (local residents) who helped us carry timber and tools from our vehicle to the work site. .
