Nutclough woods, revetment

The first sunshine for a week! Jerry and Ginny went to Nutclough, near Hebden Bridge, where a fallen tree had taken out some of the path.  We were able to put a revetment over the hole and fill it in to make the path safe.  This was paid for by Friends of the Nutclough - many thanks.

After that we surveyed the path further up the Nutclough where a stile gives access to the road at Ibbotroyd.  The path below the stile is steep and slippery, so several steps are planned.

More work was then done cutting back vegetation on the path above Throstle Bower Farm (off Midgley Road).  There is a big problem with water on this path . . . improvement are being considered.
