Trish, Linda and Eleanor took advantage of a decent day after the snow to survey a couple of stiles and a clough crossing in Noahdale/Old Eli Clough on the hillside above Cottonstones. There is a whole network of paths crossing this hillside from Flint's Moor down to the Alma Inn and beyond. We've worked on a few but there are plenty more.
We don't often post surveys on the Blog, but felt maybe this photo was definitely worth it, if only to show the lengths we go to sometimes to assess a job!!
Luckily for the reader we haven't shared the unedifying sight of Eleanor working her way through the gap on all fours We shall be back in a few weeks to fix this stile and other jobs on the path network.
