PECKET WELL CLOUGH
Ian S and Paul were out this morning repairing three rotten steps in Pecket Well Clough on the footpath leading down onto Roy Gate. We started later to avoid heavy rain and were rewarded with a dry spell. All good stuff!

Detail: The existing risers had rotted and eroded so badly that the slope had become hazardous to walkers:
Three new risers were installed, fixed into place with wooden stobs. Job completed with a bit of in-fill and levelling off.
