Lynda and Linda worked on a small section of footpath which cuts off the corner between Delfs Lane and Turgate Lane on the hills above Triangle.
The first 2 tasks were straightforward: cutting back along the footpath and adding waymarks to what had been a fingerpost on Delfs Lane.
The final task was to replace a sawn off rotten post stump with a new yellow topped post. The rotten post stubbornly refused to budge despite the landowner kindly assisting Lynda and Linda. After much huffing and puffing the old post was chained up to the landowner’s tractor and came out with one tug!
It is hoped more walkers will now use this path which passes through a newly planted wooded pasture.
