Ian and Rich fixed a stile above Foster Clough (work funded by Midgley Community Forum) and then went down to Hey Head to sort a gate on one of the 'Children's Walks' (work funded by a local walker).
The details
The stile treadboards were completely rotten and needed replacing.
We then went down Foster Clough at Hey Head where the gate by the bridge was on the floor.
The gate needed fettling and the side post was replaced . . . but not without difficulty!
While we were there, we dug out the channel to stop water overflowing across the path.
