On a fantastic early Spring day Ken, Neil M, Catherine and Kasher tackled a few drainage issues.
CROWS were informed about a drainage problem on London Road (aka BW Todmorden 170). Although we have not had too much rain recently there were still a number of extremely large puddles and lots of MUD! People have started to create another path higher up the hillside to avoid the water on this section of London Road.

We then moved on to have a second session on the footpath Todmorden 128 at Top of the Rough, off Lumbutts Road. We scraped the drainage ditches, cleared some of the causey stones and improved the turnbys etc. This route is significantly better than it was a month or two ago! The upper sections had been badly churned up by horses but this path should dry out even more in the next few weeks when we hope to carry out further work.

Today's work has been funded by individual donations to CROWS. Many thanks.
