Ignoring the forecast for rain, Ken and Ian V set out to repair the bridge and some steps in Ramsden Wood. Fortunately the rain held off and we managed to repair three of the steps and install an additional step to make the trek up and down the slope a little easier. A log that had been trapped under the bridge was also dislodged to reduce the risk of it rising and moving the bridge in severe flood conditions. Also, a minor repair to the bridge was made and drainage pipes on the path to the bridge were unblocked to divert water away from the path.
