On this bright autumn day Mick and Neil M. took the path through Obadiah Wood above Cornholme. (Calderdale RoW number Todmorden 060). This attractive route through sloping woodland was reported to us as marred by one very boggy patch near the edge of the wood coming from Shore Road.

So we shifted some stone and made a better defined channel for any water trickling down. This stopped the water spreading in both directions along the path.
We will return another day when the surroundings will have dried out a little, to see if there is anything more that we should be doing there.
