Andrew and Ray were sent to rebuild a stile near Croft Farm, Lumbutts on the Calderdale Way as part of the Todmorden Volunteer Week. The day was overcast with a chilly breeze and occasional showers.
This was the stile originally with a rotten step leg and cross piece.
Several of the cross-rails were also rotten.
We replaced the rotten cross-rails and the step leg (which doesn't look new because we recycled a redundant finger post!) and then added a new grab pole to assist people crossing the stile.
