Heidi, Neil D and Rich went to replace some slats on a bridge that had been reported.
The path is used as a route to the school so we needed to do the work with some urgency.

When we removed some old slats, we found that the main stringers had
also deteriorated, so it ended up as a rebuild but a shorter bridge. After a dash back to
the depot to get a replacement stringer we set to work.

Once the frame was secured, just needed to nail in the slats, add staples and level the path either end.

This took job longer than expected so we will need to go back and do cutting back, replacing steps and path levelling.
