We then went to a walled path above Throstle Bower, Mytholmroyd. The tree crossing the path had been partly dealt with by someone but with a axe. Both sections have now been tidied and removed. This old paved path needs a good 'haircut' in the Autumn - it must be three years since we tackled it.
Then it was on to Brearley Woods where we had a good wander around . . . but failed to find the reported tree!
We are in the process of improving the Report A Problem page on our website. We hope to have this finished in the next few weeks before the Autumn winds cause more trees to come down.
