Ken and Ian V fixed some grab posts on the stone stile near Outwood Farm. This stile over a high stone wall has caused problems for many walkers, and there have occasionally been accidents with people falling off and injuring themselves!
We have pondered for many months on the best way to improve matters - rebuilding the top section of the wall, demolishing it and installing a gate, building platforms to make access easier, ... or doing nothing! Because of indecision, cost, or difficulty, the do nothing option has prevailed for some time. However, today we've made an improvement by installing grab posts to make crossing over the wall a little safer.

This should make it easier and safer for walkers to cross this wall on their way to or from Lumb Falls.
