OLD TOWN / WADSWORTH

OLD TOWN VILLAGE

Ian S and Paul repaired a rotted stile leg and added a grab post to the stile behind Top O'th Croft cottage in Old Town. They then widened the narrow field-side path that runs from Lower Chiserley toward Top O'th Croft and Foot Kiln. The latter task involved removing tufty grass incursions on a long stretch of footpath to reveal some aesthetically pleasing stone curbing.

Revealing the Rotted stile leg!

Repaired stile with new grab rail

Narrow overgrown path.

Widened revealing stone curb.

 Longer stretch widened.

Work funded by Wadsworth residents' donations. Many thanks.
