Heidi and Stella had a pleasant half-day waymarking and re-surveying a section of Mytholmroyd Walks first surveyed in 2020. Most of the work identified then has been done. But there are a lot of wooden steps up the hillside behind the Nest Estate to and through the pine wood above Daisy Bank and three of these steps are either missing or thoroughly broken. We plan to return next week to fix them.
No pics today (how many more photos of a CROW banging in a waymark can this blog stand?!). But we did meet some playful pigs at the new allotments up there who looked very photogenic!
