WALSDEN Cranberry Dam

Kasher and Ginny worked to improve the ground between the two boardwalks recently installed near Cranberry Dam.  On the way up we cleared the first steps of mud and leaves.

And did what we could to stop the bank encroaching on the newly built steps further up the hillside

                                                        

                                The area between the boardwalks was obviously holding a lot of water!

We identified 2 main streams coming from the field above and dug more ditches to channel the water.

                                                                Hopefully it will now dry out
