Catherine, Kash and Ginny worked on footpath 178 going down to the left from the top of Shaw Wood Road. We cleared the leaves from the steps, but thought it safer to leave them on the steep slope.
At the bottom, where a fallen wall made going difficult, the landowner (who kindly brought us a cup of coffee) explained where the path should be, so we did some raised bed gardening!
Across the yard there is a walled lane which needed some clearing!
And having some time left we went further along the road below Stoodley estate where a footpath going down the hillside is not easy to enter or exit!!
It's not easy working in a confined space
But the result is worth it
