Lynda, Catherine, Ken and Ginny continued cutting back the bilberries and brambles at Upper Coney Garth off Jackson Lane. This narrow path has been very overgrown for a long time and needs hard work with shears, loppers and azads to open it out.
The brambles are pretty tough too !
It's a very useful and attractive path and now that it's been cleared it needs plenty of people to walk it to keep the undergrowth from returning.
