At full social distance Ginny and Stella walked the Calderdale Way link path up The Buttress to Heptonstall, followed the Way to Midgehole and returned along the link path to Hebden Bridge.
The Way is well signed and it is a nice route, including passing a delightful small "coiner's garden" just as the path leaves Heptonstall village. A few link path waymarks were required.
The 'bridleway' running down below the Heptonstall "by-pass" to the road to the Scout hut is full of mulch and the turn-byes are choked. It would benefit from some scraping to create a dry line and some urgent dealing with the scouring.
