Ian and Ginny worked on the path from Wood Top down towards Robin Hood Rocks. There is a very deep stone drain beside the path, but, once blocked by fallen stones and vegetation, the water runs down the path instead.
With much back-breaking work you can sometimes get the roots out in one go!
So the water will stay in the drain
There was a concerned onlooker!
