Ken and Ginny worked on the moors above Withens Clough Reservoir.
The previous boardwalk was no longer serving any useful purpose!

So we tried draining the swamp.
And then re-siting the boardwalk.
But getting it to balance was not easy, so we had lunch and thought about it. Finally, with much heavy stone shifting we got it in place and nailed posts to secure it.
And it seems to work and make the route passable (with wellies)
