A full team went to tackle this section of the Calderdale Way Near Shawcroft.
A walking group had reported that the path was now a stream and was becoming eroded.
The 7 Crows (Dick, Ray, RJ, Nick, Fred, Ian and Paul) adorned with wellies and waterproofs played around in the mud to rescue this well-used part of the Calderdale Way. A new lengthy drainage ditch was dug out to channel the water from the track and existing ditches cleared out. The waterlogged, eroded path will hopefully dry out to enable walkers to re-use it.
