Dick, R J and Graham repaired and improved two very awkward field stiles near Old Crib Farm.
These are on the route of one of the walks from the Villages walks. Much easier to use now.

KITLING BRIDGE
Meanwhile at Kitling Bridge Stella and Paul did sterling work unplugging the blocked up waterfall under the bridge. The recent deluge had caused debris (including tree trunks and branches) to block up the under flow causing the stream to flow over the bridge footpath.
After much wrestling (particularly with a very large stubborn tree trunk) and fishing around with adze's and spades Stella pointed her magic finger and the stream found its way down to its previous channel. CAW CAW
