Dick, Paul and Stella started work on an old path from Slack Top down into the Crags, which is full of wet mulch most of the way down. Walkers have been voting with their feet and clambering on to the banking in places to avoid the quagmires. Scraping and shovelling wet mulch was a good work-out after the Christmas/New Year break. We've done half the path, so there will be another fitness-enhancing opportunity soon........
